Guys, please leave the FAO Regis80 thread and debate here.. a Regis named thread shouldn't have or contain anything abusive as a respect to the big man. Or you could all just stop the bickering?

Irritating isn't it mate?
Why posters have to get so abusive is beyond me.
The need to call people names is beyond me.
The need to sit there and type swear words whilst leaving a gap so as to get the word through is beyond me.
I would quit as a moderator but I don't know how to. It's beyond me.

I’ve been guilty of it in the past but had my reasons and regret some but it gets out of hand at times on here.

As a moderator what control do you have on this site? I ask because i’m thinking whether this footy mad site is very limited. As a web developer i’ve always been keen to set up a forum website without the ads and so much more control for mods.

We can ban posters, or we can yellow them. If they get enough yellows then an automatic ban comes into effect, which i think is what happened to Newcy, i certainly didn't red him.
I don't like banning anyone, we are all adults. I banned someone once then had other posters moaning that i shouldn't have banned him. It seems people only want someone banned if it directly affects themselves.
We all want the same things, to see Albion do well, and we all have different opinions as why we aren't doing well. I am definitely in the Peace was a shyster camp. I think he made a fortune at our expense.
But i don't have any proof, and i wouldn't type abuse to someone who thinks he did a good job for us. All about opinions.
These things are better discussed over a pint or two, and i doubt people would become so aggressive if they had the other fellow sitting opposite them.
