    Gordon Banks just passed away.

Aged 81, one of the greatest ever of all time and a wonderful man.

Big shame, 81 is no age at all these days.

    RIP.

    Aye, it's sad.

His family will be tremendously proud of his achievements and the mark of the man is the stuff folk have said about him since he passed.

    RIP

A couple of old timers, like myself have said

    1. while the save against pele was good, his BEST EVER save was from when he played for stoke against us and Wyn Davies.

    2. Gordon himself on at least 1 occasion also classed that as his best save ever. so there ya gan
unfortunately like many many more gems from the past - it wasn't televised.

all these memories will soon die out
