    Jacob Murphy?

Being at the match yesterday and him not featuring in the match day squad has anyone the reason why as can't fathom it is he injured?

I was surprised too, especially when he just seemed to be getting into his stride and getting on the score sheet. I would have expected Murphy to start and Phillips to replace him later on......but as I've said (and keep on saying it) what do we know?....there must have been a reason.

Wasn’t it because with Gayle back we had to drop one of the loan players to keep the squad within the maximum of 5? Complicated I know but that is why I thought he wasn’t playing.

Maybe it is more to do with the fact that Dwight Gayle is now the number one choice to play on the wing. I mean, it is clear his pace, dribbling, crossing and all round ability to fulfil that particular role and prove the point don't they?
