Rotherham United income down 24% in 2017/18 following relegation to League One. Would have been bigger drop except owners increased sponsorship from £1m to £3m
Rotherham made loss of £27,000 a week in 2017/18 pre player trading. Profit of £790k on player sales (possible sell on clause?)helped offset these losses.
Biggest costs for Rotherham were wages of £6.3m (to put in context, less than Michael Keane earns at Everton) which fell by over a quarter after relegation and rent of £1m to owners which fell by 18%.
Rotherham player trading for 2017/18 was purchases of £275k and sales of £800k
Rotherham owe other clubs £859k for transfers/loan fees but are themselves owed £949k
Rotherham dependent upon owners who have lent club £3.5 million and appears to be interest free.
We need to get out of this League pronto
