    St m crowd

    Great atmosphere.

See what happens when you let young fans have a bit of leeway.

Thought our crowd was quiet as per.

This is a bit silly but there were a few older boys behind me telling everyone to sit down. Crucial game, these boys just wanted to watch, stop the younger guys singing, not influence by standing up and making a noise. Unbelievable

I don't expect aulder guys to leap about like loonies but our support hasn't been great for a while now, been left way behind by other provincial clubs.

I was genuinely impressed with the st m support yesterday and they arnae one of my fav club's by a long chalk.

They still have that just up enthusiasm but it was impressive.

They encourage the noisy section, they don’t over police the away end and instead of lifting dafties they took photos for them. Night and day to Dens, and much much better

Really didn't expect such a small modern ground to create that.

As you say don't over police and we can only dream of "encouraging a noisy section".....We were beginning to get it then boom the culling of the Derry killed it stone dead.

    I still find it incredible.

Still reading about our amazing support elsewhere. It was a good support in numbers but certainly not amazing, out shouted, out supported and out encouraged by 150 st m supporters who brought the rest of their support along with them.

As I say it just shows you what can be achieved......hiya Nelms, hiya most respected.

Agree to an extent but their team gave them something to shout about. As you said yesterday why boo a bad pass/shot as it helps no-one but I get the impression from most of our players that they don't give a f***.That to me is the biggest disappointment for me.

I try and limit (at the game anyway) of moaning at individual players (Darren McGhee rip and Freddy daquin a couple of notable exceptions) as it just dosent help.

The modern journeyman player just down tools under heavy criticism and better players (Kamara and Bain) can down them for anything really.

Constant haranging of woods was terrible yesterday and the same boys will be expecting him to roll up the sleeves and get tore in on weds.

We are **** but players will just get more **** with abuse.

It wasnae as if st m were on a great run or had been in good form, manager still under severe p but fans backed their players.....more younger fans and less negative aulder grumps required.

And I acknowledge I'm a grumpy **** on here but I'm relatively positive at the games.....which is where it counts.
