Tha can't pick a winner in this one for me Roma, wide open wi many players on form. Al not be having much of a flutter on this as I normally would, al be watching with the usual interest cos it's one o mi favourite sporting events.

Avva gut feeling abart Justin Rose this year and a really hope he can do it. If a do bet on him al do it afooar start o second round though if he's in contention cos odds dunt fluctuate too much from starting price

I put my bets on a couple of weeks back.
I've gone for Molinari, Casey, Fowler & Justin Thomas.
Molinari & Casey are in great form right now.
Casey's driving is superb right now, and he's long off the tee, not that's so relevant as it used to be. They all knock it 300+ yards now.
Molinari's iron play is best in the world.
Thomas & Fowler not in the best form but decent prices for their ability.
Last year I picked up £1700 for a £2.50 e/w double on Reed & Tiger Roll to win the G.National.
I've gone for the above doubled with Rathvinden & Vintage Clouds this year.
If one of the horses comes in it makes for a very interesting weekend.

I'm always looking for value and a run for my money in the Masters , a solid record even if just falling short at Augusta is also a factor with me plus currently playing well if not necessarily winning .

This year I'm backing 6 golfers e/w with a fiver on each .

These are my picks who fit my profile .

    Rickie Fowler 18/1

    Jordan Spieth 20/1

    Bubba Watson 25/1

    Jason Day 25/1

    Fran Molinari 30/1

    Tony Finau 30/1

67/1 with most of the big bookies (Hills, Sky, Ladbrokes).

    I thought so.
7/2 for Tiger Roll. I can't back a horse in the National at those odds.
Rathvinden (10/1) won the Cheltenham 4 mile race last year, and won over 3+ miles last time out.
Vintage Clouds (12/1) finished 2nd in this years Cheltenham 4 miler and has bottom weight.
Tiger Woods 14/1. I remember when he used to be 3/1.
His odds are always distorted like England's World Cup odds.
If you compare him to Justin Thomas over the last 3 years, and Thomas is 18/1.
    Thomas 9 wins, Tiger 1.
