    The Mask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to admit I took a certain amount of pleasure in the result of the Wulfs semi-final match. But there seems to be a lot of controversy over the player donning that wrestling mask after scoring the second goal. Well Wulfs or not I thought it was brilliant. He looked funny, he was happy, the Wulfs fans were going crazy. It was for me what football is all about. Entertaining. Do I envy the Wulfs, You bet your ass I do. Do I wish we had players who would do that sort of thing, you bet I do.

I thought it was c ocky, arrogant and thoroughly cringeworthy to be honest.

About as plastic as the orchestrated pre match pump up the volume pyro' displays at Molineux.

Glad he took his mask off long enough to enjoy the delight of leaving Wembley with egg on his face.

I'm not even remotely jealous of them either, they've had the bad times and now they're having the good.

    Fair enough, it happens.

As for the attention seeking barrage balloon who did the mask routine in the stands, what an absolute tit.

Funny as fk seeing him at the final whistle though .

Anyway, off to Bristol in a bit.

Largely agree, no problem with celebrating - that's what we're all in the game for. But I'm not sure about celebrating with a mask. Seems a bit OTT and premeditated.

I'm not envious at all either with Wolves. It comes and goes in cycles, we have had the best of the last two decades. I'll never forget us pipping them to automatic under Megson or the 5-1 game. We did it self sufficiently too.

They're having their time in the sun now, but they've spent heavily to get there and they are £75m in debt to their current owners Fosun. Fosun might have best of intentions for Wolves, but if they ever get bored and/or want their investment back then I'd be a very concerned Wolves fan.

Yes, pretty much agree with all of that. I just thought he was setting himself up for an almighty fall if they lost having done such an OTT premeditated goal celebration. I’m not envious of them either. I admire their owners as they are investing responsibly and building the club with its best interests. To be fair their fans have put up with years of s**t football so let them enjoy their day in the sun. Everything goes in cycles which means that sooner or later we must be due a decent owner but I’m not holding my breath🙄

The Mask was given to him by a Mexican wrestler, all a bit of fun, that's all. Wrestling is massive in Jimenez's Country. Many players celebrate goals in all sorts of ways, this was his. Too many people out there take things too serious, a goal celebration and that's all it was.
