I read that Cambridge played a second team yesterday
I don't think that breaks any FA rules though ?

Will they do the same at Macc' ?

Good question......are they allowed to deliberately field a weakened/second team in such a crucial fixture?

Swindon did this a few years back in league one when playing Colchester in last game as Mark Cooper was resting first team for the playoffs. It did not do them any good though and possibly lost them momentum, but it meant Colchester got a point and contributed to our relegation that season from league one under Moniz. So anything can be possible. Just hoping Cambridge are not wanting to be third bottom, which they will be if they lose, so will be fighting for their league position and the extra pennies it earns by being a place higher in the league.

"Possibly lost momentum"....mmm for me Ardley's biggest failing when he changed the team after great results against three promotion candidates against Newport and we got trounced at home again
