    Fun In Yarkshur

Villa apparently kicked the ball out of play for an injured leeds player, minutes later a Villa player goes down injured, leeds don't kick it out of play and go on to score, Villa obviously not happy with this and Bamford fakes being hit in the face (poor acting), leeds Manager tells his team to let Villa score but leeds defender Janson doesn't like it

I can understand if a player goes down with a head/face injury the play must be stopped, but for a body or limb injury I don't agree with stopping the game or kicking the ball out of play.

    .

it worked out....the trickster Bamford will not be popular - but on appeal, Ghazi should get a clean slate - so only real bad was that Villa played out the remaining 15mins with 10 men....not much they can do about that.

Bamford is not a trickster Norder he is a cheat. A two game ban will be barely sufficient for his play acting. Even if it is imposed.

Bielsa emerges with some great credit here for demanding an unopposed (apart from Jansson) Villa goal.

Frankly the mard arse Villa player was rolling around like he had been shot. Dirty Weeds had no reason to stop play, Villa cocked up, and I agree entirely with Alto, "I can understand if a player goes down with a head/face injury the play must be stopped, but for a body or limb injury I don't agree with stopping the game or kicking the ball out of play."

Bamford should hide in a cupboard for a year because that was shameful play acting.

He wouldn't have done that if they needed the win to get auto promotion though..

Maybe not Alfie, but Revie wouldn't have done it anyway, under any circumstances, so it is a small step towards redemption for dirty Leeds, and for such small mercies must we be thankful.

When I was about eight, Harry Kenyon the old Headmaster Of Baxenden St. John's CE Primary School clipped me round the head and said, "Always play to the whistle!"

The referee did not even blow for a foul!

Perhaps Mr K should have clipped you a bit harder BT, he clearly didn't knock any sense into you.
