A league that is somewhere between Championship and 1st Division standard.
Aiden scored a great goal against Perth Glory in the A League (and Perth Glory when on to win the title) but I have watched him several times since and he is not what we need at this point in his development.
I wish it were otherwise.

BT, as stated in another thread, A-League in Australia is seriously underwhelming. The occasional flash of brilliance, but that's about it. Any decent Aussie player is in Europe anyway (e.g. Awer Mabil in MittjylandFC). Aiden O'Neill is the best in a team that is pretty ordinary. He needs to be recalled to Burnley and loaned out to a Championship team for a season and watch his development. On that theory, Dan Agyei should be more ready to bring in, maybe for Wood or Barnes. That's probably a big call but we are doing the same thing season after season, why not try it? Hope we can hang on in the EPL for two or three more seasons, planning to come to Turf Moor to watch. Might find time to visit some in-laws while I'm there.
