    Not just match officials

On Goals on Sunday it was deemed good defensive play when a Liverpool player wrapped his arms around a Toon defender in the box, also when Sturridge pushed Rondon in the back to stop him getting a defensive header from a Liverpool corner.
But when Ritchie barely touched a Liverpool player outside the box they said it was ok for the player to throw himself to the ground because he felt a touch.

If players and ex player pundits change things to suit themselves how do they expect refs to get it right.

Hopefully VAR might change things next season especially for us as we usually get stiffed by the officials.

VAR will be manned by the same refs that make the same shiite decisions.

You only have to watch Dermot Gallagher on the Monday round up to realise nothing will change.

It's very much one rule for one team, another for the opposing one.
