Hopefully the team can continue on from a great game on Friday to the same level of performance Thursday.
Dreadful few years until the Robbie / Ogren revolution
Big chance now to move forward
Whether it is Hamilton or St Mirren if we play this at our best we can with this and win well.
First leg being at home and we need to be taking a lead into the second leg.
Depends on fitness of Safranko and Butcher but at the moment I’d go
Benji
Watson Connolly Reynolds Robson
Bouhenna Harkes
McM Clark Pawlett
Safranko
Then have Sow to come off the bench and try and punish opposition late on.
One step at a time but this is massive for us now and there is some possible light at the end of the tunnel.
Let’s work hard, give our full support and do this.
COME ON UNITED!!!!
Hopefully the team can continue on from a great game on Friday to the same level of performance Thursday.
It would be interesting to see the bookies odds,i would imagine ST Mirren will be strong favourites. We are unlucky to be facing a team in decent form, normally the play off team have been scratching about for results but not this season unfortunately.

Never expected this!
Edit! Have to look for scottish championship
Bet365 have us as slight favourites to qualify at 3/4 at St Mirren 1/1
Thursday we're 11/10 & St Mirren are 12/5.
That's very heartening.
Team is looking quality now. This is our best chance to go up
Agree though - St Mirren are definitely no mugs
Saints are coming in on a 6 match unbeaten run (ok that includes the Fun 😂 but still you can only play what is put in front of you.
I don’t think both games will necessarily be tight. Home advantage will be big and we need a win to start with so we can make them have to play when we go west over to paisley
Exciting times
glad for the 6day rest which should allow a few players to recover from 2nd leg.
Benji
Watson Connolly Reynolds Booth
McMullan bouhenna Harkes Robson
Sow Clark
Saints main player is the boy mccallister who is all left foot who plays on right normally and looks to cut in so wanting us to be solid on that side with booth and robson.
bouhenna was solid last night so doesnt deserve to be dropped and maybe too much of a risk to play butcher after the injury he has (maybe save him until 2nd leg)
use safranco for impact possibly
We have given ourselves a chance but at the same time it's against an in form side who will not want to go straight back down
There is a 50/50 chance we won't go up, so prepare for that outcome too and be positive regardless, with Neilson in charge and the backing he'll get, next season will be a good one either way, we are on the up as a club
