I can't see the current squad surviving without the Rafa factor.

As I posted on another thread, what Rafa was instrumental in doing was making the players, collectively, greater than the sum of their parts. Most of us accept that without him, that team, that squad, would have gone down.

It's clear from the fact that Rafa is off that our buying policy is going to be based on pay the least possible as late as possible; whichever puppet we bring in won't even have the glitter to roll the resulting turd in never mind trying to polish it.
