Watched him many times for the u21s .good player but was light weight. Romaine completed the most forward passes in the championship last season with 85.6% pass rate.

We are bringing in decent Championship players. Established players who are unlikely to improve much, certainly not top flight standard if we were to be promoted.
I hope if we do go up, and there is a fair chance of that, Bilic is given a good war chest to enable us to stay up.
We are certainly in a much better shape than before he was appointed.

I think in this new money world of football every season starts anew. Turnover of players at every club is significant and that is why the recruitment department is so important for every club. Let’s hope they are starting to get better at their job!

No matter what budget we get we are always competing with many other clubs for the players and therefore it isn’t easy but it certainly is crucial.
