Let em off the hook at 122 for 8 and ending up with 284 all out .

That bstrd Smith will get no credit from me , fecker shouldn't even be playing .

Extremely worried about our batting , we will see tomorrow how we fair but I ain't convinced we are capable of getting the totals and bat Oz out of games .

Good day from England. Burns was superb batting all day which is exactly what we needed. Nowt seems to phase him or get in his head. He rode his luck at times but got the breaks when playing and missing. One of those could easily have been nicked on another day but like I say, it didn't phase him. Well played lad.

England must surely be looking to get at least 100 in front tomorrow. If the current partnership can hold steady in the morning then we have Bairstow and Ali to come in next who can both knock a quick score with the natural way they play.

Agree Pass a 100 plus lead puts us in a great position .

That said I wouldn't want to be chasing more than 170 to win the game on a turning pitch .

Some twists and turns left in this one , fantastic contest so far .

Can someone tell me what Moen Alli is supposed to offer.
Can't bat, poor bowler, worst fielder in the team.

He must be in the side because its politically correct. Pitch is spinning so a chance for him to grab some wickets and redeem himself in Aussie 2nd innings.
