    Football's coming home

With the debate and argument on the political landscape this week we seemed to have forgotten that this is a football forum as well.

What are people's views on what our starting XI should be on Saturday?

IMO opinion I would rather see Austin given a start and maybe bring in Edwards for Philips who has not set the world alight yet this season.

Sorry to interrupt your political debate!

I would bring back Austin and start both Grady and Periera. Phillips goes missing too much and Edwards is a good prospect, but equally goes missing.

Love to try another option to Livermore too!!

Have to agree with the 3 changes to start this game, especially as it is at home. Not sure if Gibbs will be fit, so maybe a fourth change needed.

Can see Harper getting a run out soon and maybe will come on as a sub to replace Livermore in the second half.

Can’t see Gibbs playing Yarm and he won’t be missed on recent performances. Can see Townsend starting....

Must be 3 points and nothing less

Whoever plays up front we need to be hitting him with an early ball from time to time. It's good to watch when we go forward with 9 men passing the ball around but when we do it gives the opposition to regroup and the striker is nearly always well marked.

Politics and Football should never be mixed, or can it? Anyway our boss Bilic is a socialist. As soon as results get worse I predict the right wingers on here to start the name calling... comrade, left wing luvvy etc because that is the intelligence level of some of the members here.

Anyway back to the point, I hope the socialist picks a different keeper this week.

Personally can’t see that happening as he’s a proper manager unlike the two numpties last year.

For me as long as they know their football - could not careless of their background or gender. I would even introduce a girl if a girl player/manager was better than what we had. The girls would cup proved there are some talented players out there especially in the US team.

Of course, like you’d have Ada Hegerberg over your fav player HRK.

For me Regis - it would not matter if a player was gay - drank 6 pints or was a girl - as long as they were decent.

HRK is not good enough so if Alex Morgan proved she could score goals at this level - then come on down - in more ways than one😉
