    Away/Change strips!

When are clubs going to stop producing stupid colour schemes as their change strips? Yesterday's 'fifty shades of grey' worn by Blackburn was a case in point. Whether it was the sun or what, both myself and those around me found it difficult to identify which side was which. Judging by their first goal nor could our defenders. Rovers play in blue and white halves so it's not rocket science to choose a colour like red, yellow, black etc. to ensure you don't clash with the opposition. By the way when are we going to need to wear that ridiculous purple kit of ours. Never. Green and yellow stripes won't clash with anybody. If it's to make money, well good luck with that as I can't see many buying I it.

I agree that the 2 sets of kit yesterday weren't distinct enough, not sure what their alternative kits are.
I also think that the front and back of kits should be consistent, i.e. if you have stripes on the front you
should have stripes on the back.

Thought it was just me, found myself looking at the green socks. Players must have to look twice.

Its because we live at a time where no one challenges the phrase "Why not"?
Just be glad no one has thought of footballers wearing leotards!

Having seen all three of their kits Umbro really haven't done Blackburn any favours. They all clash with blue and white to differing degrees. The third kit top is navy blue with black checks down one side and has a white sponsors logo smack in the middle. Something for the FA or largely inept EFL to look into perhaps? Maybe we could have lent them our third kit on the day? Possibly the only chance it'll be used this season other than in the FA Cup. We could then have done the sporting thing and played in yellow and green at home. Ketts's blood pressure would have gone off the scale at that .

Blackburn is a weird enough style anyway, the blue n white halved shirt. I havent seen their new away kit yet.
