    Mawgan Porth,Cornwall.

Just got back from a week in this beautiful spot with four generations of my family, nine of us in total.

I usually stay a couple of miles away in Watergate Bay but this time I found a house to rent in Mawgan Porth right on the beach......absolutely idyllic.

If any of you are thinking of a trip to that area I really would highly recommend Mawgan Porth and there’s a superb pub/restaurant there called The Merrymoor that serves terrific food.

I found the property through a company called “Perfect Stays” and the house was called “Waters Edge”........they have a number of lovely properties to offer.

Great value if you’re a large group and splitting the cost.

Had terrific fun at St Eval go kart track just a couple of miles up the road as well and at nearly 58 I came second out of our family group of four and only my daughter’s partner who has his own cart narrowly beat my fastest lap and average lap times 😎

So much stuff for the kids to do around the area as well.

Well worth considering for a short break or longer.

Of course it was good, idyllic and beautiful, it’s Cornwall. 😎

Glad you enjoyed your stay Mick. Mawgan Porth, never been there, a new place to visit next time. 😊

You’ll enjoy The Merrymoor Pub Tomas and you really do need to visit Watergate Bay just two miles away.

They are both on the road from Newquay to Padstow so you should allow yourself a day or two in that area next year.

Google yourself some pictures of the area.
