If the opinions expressed on this forum are replicated by the rest of the country then Corbyn is dead in the water, we will leave the EU on October 31st, the Labour Party will be obliterated in the next General Eection, the majority of MP's who have defied the will of the people will be collecting their P45's and Boris Johnson will be PM with a huge majority.
The question is, does this board represent the opinions of the rest of the country? I honestly believe that it does. Posters on here must be pretty representative of the population in general. We are all from different walks of life and the only common denominator is West Bromwich Albion FC. I discuss the situation with others in my local area and again the vast majority are of the same opinions. Yes, I live in a small Leicestershire village but I am in contact with people who you wouldn't describe as being of a similar ilk.
You then have to ask yourself why the Labour Party are so against a General Election. Ignore the reasons that they are espousing; the bottom line is that they know that they will lose!
They need to '68, because as sure as 'God made little apples,' the opposition will.
My best mate voted to remain and has never voted Tory in his near 50 years.
He’s voting for them next time though.
I have come across very few remainers. Even the youngsters I've spoken to are staunch supporters of out, and they know why. The TV has spun a pack of lies for three years now. London is like a country of its own, and most TV interviews come from there when there's some city skirmish.
The region where I live voted Leave as did around 70% of regular friends as did many of my family around the UK. London is a different case altogether. John Cleese was spot on when he said London had lost it's Englishness just before the PC brigade queued up to call him a racist. Truth is, most of the crackpot MP's that we wonder what sort of individual votes them in are in London; Corbyn, Abbott, Thornbury, McDonnel, Lammy.....London is very different and not representative IMO. It just has a big mouthpiece.
Looking at other WBA Boards this one seems unique in being Leaver favoured. I wonder if it's a generation thing, I know for example that I am of a similar age to Mick and absolutely agree with his views. Coming from Stourbridge I thought I would have to swerve the Tory vote but now Margot has lost the whip hopefully we get a Leave candidate. I would vote Brexit Party but I'm sure that the only way to stop Comrade Corbyn is to vote Boris.
