After witnessing yesterday's unedifying images from the House of Commons I have come to the conclusion that Parliament should be dissolved immediately as very few of them are fit for purpose. What we replace it with I haven't a clue. We shouldn't be worrying so much about climate change but the way that our country is being run, or should I say not being run, by our politicians. One Labour MP, I don't know his name and to be honest I don't wish to, was completely out of control and acted like some lunatic. Is this the example that we should be setting to the children of our nation? It was utterly disgraceful!
I admit that I am a Brexiteer but it doesn't alter the fact that there is only one group of people to blame for us being in the mess that we find ourselves in. They are the hypocrites who claim that they are standing up for democracy when it is they who are completely ignoring the result of a democratic vote taken by the electorate. They are arrogant and self serving and yes, morally corrupt!
As I say, what we do now I just do not know, but what I have stated above sums up the the mess that we find ourselves in. Don't ask me how it can be solved though.

That's about the size of it Leicester. Remainers and the EU are the problem, both for being awkward.
If Brexit was done now, none of this anger would be showing its ugly head. I’m sorry but all this is happening because the remainers in parliament, the media and the man on the street have refused to accept the referendum result.
The word “democracy” is being used to easily as an excuse to justify their cause.
What's with all this clapping malarkey!! If the new speaker doesn't put a stop to this then it will be like Sunday night at the London Palladium
Yes, I thought there was way to much made of the choice of words tbh. It seems as if Boris is getting it from all angles, cross parties who ordinarily will never get elected let alone would cross the street to talk to each other and of course the BBC. I was tuned in to the BBC this morning and saw one of the most biased interviews between Naga Munchetty to James Cleverly the tory chairman that I've seen in a long time. She was aggressive, rude and really showed her colours. I actually turned over. On the other side they were interviewing some students about yesterday's goings on, one made a good point in that the MP's have forced the House back in order to discuss Brexit, but spent the day trading insults. No wonder the majority of the country outside London want a General Election ASAP. This lot need flushing down the sewer.
100% spot on Ram.
If democracy was what these remain lot believed in Brexit would be done and dusted now.
The correct approach would be to instigate the referendum result and then to start a campaign to return to the EU with a future manifesto promise to have another referendum on whether to stay out or return to the EU.
If you’re so confident that “we didn’t know what we were voting for” and that public opinion has now shifted then the remain lot can be confident of winning that vote to return.
They’re not confident though which is why they’re not prepared to do this.
The above way is DEMOCRACY........anything else is not.
If “Leave” had lost this is the approach that we’d have to have taken,no other route as used by this load of losers would have been deemed “acceptable” in any way.
Democracy is a dead as a Dodo.
Just heard today...on a point of order....that if an election was called in the UK...the earliest it could be held....is the 5th of November..
So if that were the case...and no agreement were to be reached with the EU...and T. May's. agreement were still to be rejected.....what would that mean?
Assuming that your PM has stated he would rather be dead in a ditch then seek an extension.....would that trigger an exit without any deal?
It would wouldn't it?
Just for clarity please....
Thanks..
In many countries the antics of Parliament would have triggered a military coup! I now find it impossible to argue further for Remain, as the risk of a Corbyn government is too great. We just don’t know how this will end, the country has been reduced to an international laughing stock.
Anyway, I’m going to forget all this for the rest of the day and look forward to some Bathams tonight; making the trip from Kettering to the wilds of Worcestershire to my favourite pub! Only a short drive, I believe, from where Mick lives, I had better beware!!!
