Loan players not getting game time

Is it not a case of they are just not good enough and shouldn't be near a toon squad ?

I have a horrible suspicion that that's the case, Kev.

I've lost count of the number of 'next big things' we've had, especially where strikers are concerned.

Anyone would think our coaching and training facilities are sub-standard. Ahh, but wait, that can't be the case-Penfold has told us they're adequate.

Also devalues a players worth for any potential future transfer to club.

More likely they aren't good enough or go in to the loan with completely the wrong attitude.

It’s important to realize that not all our loan players have been sent out to other clubs in order to get game time and improve. Most have gone out on loan for financial reasons because they are sh*t but were handed ridiculously good contracts by the club. They’re on loan so someone else can help pay their wages while their contracts run down. Whether they play or not, Shola and NUFC aren’t bothered.
The club is amateur when it comes to contracts with P45due’s 8 year one being the cherry on the cake.

When the loan manager role came up it was a real chance to at least try and sort our future out with a youth focus.

God love him but by giving it to Shola it just shows we weren't really serious about it.
