    Dark nights.

    A pet hate of mine.

One night down 154 including tonight to go because 2020 is a leap year.

22 weeks of unnecessarily early darkness.

One thing the Eu have got right is their plan to scrap putting the clocks back each October end.

Funny how the 22 weeks of darker nights seem to go on longer than the 30 weeks of light nights through the spring/summer.

The only people who enjoy the present system are rapists and perverts so why not change it!?

Dark nights and bloody poxy fireworks going off for days on end. What used to be one night of the year, possibly two depending on how November 5th fell was all you heard. Now morons are letting them off because its little Tarquin's birthday or its Diwali or Eid or New Years Eve. Ban individual use of them and only allow a couple of organised events a year where people who want to look up in the air for a couple of hours going oooh, ahrrrr, can enjoy them.

Totally agree with that JD. When you see animals scared out of their lives at this time of year you understand why people like me are campaigning for limited use of fireworks to organised displays and only for the week surrounding 5th November. Great credit to Sainsburys for refusing to stock fireworks this year. Lets hope other big retailers follow suit.

I'm with you Mick. It is done to prevent the school kids having to go to school in the dark so is probably the right thing to do. However, from a selfish point of view I'd rather leave it alone.

Autumn is my favourite season, but i like them all.
The golds and reds of the trees, the return of the Winter Birds, tales of the Bogeyman and Ghosts, the smell of woodsmoke on the night air. Whisky and Stews. Crisp morning walks.
Get out and enjoy it ya miserable bassas.

You clearly spend far too much time in the company of your local taxi drivers Mick .
