It still amazes me that Hearts fans were happy to see him go considering what he achieved as their manager. If i remember correctly it was more the style of football than the results. There is no doubt that Heart of Midlothian are one of this country's top clubs but they have been on the slide since the day he left.
When things go wrong at Tannadice which they have at times under his tenure we should all remember he got Hearts up by a street in the most difficult Championship in Scottish football's history,FACT.

GB Hearts fans getting everything they deserve, promoted easily, finished 3rd in the prem and 2nd at Christmas when he decided to leave and never been near those levels since

What's priceless is, when have Hearts of all teams ever played with style, even when they spent millions under mad Vlad they were more physical, pace and power over style and class

They had short memories and would be in a great position had RN stayed to create an "era"

Not that he would go to Hibs but they have just sacked Herckingbottom. Hibs and Hearts without managers and Aberdeen fans not too pleased with MacInnes. Interesting times.

I don't think that he has done enough with us yet to be considered for any of the above clubs.I am not having a go at him but lets say we were 15 points clear then we would have something to worry about.

Very true mate,Hearts have never been noted for fast fluid football except perhaps for the periods when Burley was manager or when they failed to emulate us by beating shyte on their ain midden to win the league
