I would also be looking at 11 points from the 5 League games in January Eric.
December games are also important, we need to hang in there in a play off place or even top 2 if possible.

The Millers have 6 games to play in January 2020, with a FA cup tie in the 6 games, the 5 league games will have a telling effect in our position in league 1.
We have Blackpool at Home, then Hull City in the FA cup at home ( should be playing Coventry away ), Oxford United away, Bristol Rovers at home, Peterborough United away, Ipswich Town at home. None of the games are going to be easy, all the teams in with a chance of promotion.
With 5 games left in December, we have to look to take most of the points on offer in these games, Rochdale at home, Southend away, Fleetwood at home, Shrewsbury Town away, Peterborough United at home. I think we have to take at least 11 points to show that we are a promotion side.
Hopefully put a good show up against Hull City with a 1-0 win, then a bigger team in the next round.

Some new signings? Particularly needed in defence
Well you know my view, defensive frailties will cost us in the long run.
Eric, very similar to last October where I thought we did okay but, could have done a lot better. Didn't think Oxford deserved the win but Wycombe were more hungry and organised. Let's hope we learned a few lessons from those games.
5th October Coventry (h). 4-0
12th Blackpool (a). 1-2
19th Oxford (h) 1-2
23rd Ipswich (a) 0-2
26th Wycombe (h) 0-1
9 points from a possible 15.
So looking at our results & points total for December 2019, we got 8 points out of a total of 15 on offer from the 5 games, we played 3 games at home, winning against Peterborough, drawing with Fleetwood, losing to Rochdale. The 2 games away gave winning at Shrewsbury, drawing at Southend, so home & away we gathered 4 points, bad result for us was the 0-1 loss at home to Rochdale, but taking in all the injuries we had it was a decent haul.
Now the January fixtures are going to be hard, but a good start with the Blackpool victory, if we can stay injury free, we have the quality to push on, hopefully during the transfer window we pick up the players needed to give the team more depth, which should aid a good run in to getting promotion.
