Motherwell's Winning Run Ends With A Loss To Rangers

Motherwell were a poor second best as they lost 2-0 to Rangers at Fir Park in Sunday’s lunchtime fixture. A goal in each half did the damage. Link

Same sh@te, different day against this opposition.

It's been the case for seventeen years now, no matter how good our bad we have been playing in the run up to games against Rangers, as soon as we play them our @rses collectively collapse, you could write the script.

The team simply didn't look up for this game. I can accept us being outplayed but not outfought. Another flat performance asgainst the new Rangers. And so it goes on......

IMO our worse performance of the season, we lacked drive, ambition, a game plan and any tactics at throw ins and dead ball situations.
Donnelly in my opinion may have been lucky to only have received a yellow, but what he gave to the game after that he would have been better off the park. Hylton didn’t look capable of getting past their defenders. Carrol was like a rabbit caught in the headlights he only wanted to try and pass the ball at every opportunity but failed miserably. He offered no real support out wide to Hylton. Midfield three lacked imagination and a cutting edge. Long, Cole and Scott when he came on all appeared not to know who was playing where until it was too late.
