Stoke in a financial mess .

Paying the players too much is what is doing for these clubs. The top boys should be on no more than 10 grand a week.

    There’s nothing to see here.

On the news last night they were discussing the wages of the Stoke owner’s daughter who owns Bet365.........her wage last year was £363m and the betting company turned over £65 billion last year.

Stoke won’t be going under anytime soon.

No can’t see them going under at all but at the same time if she is greedy enough to take such a huge amount out of the company for herself is she likely to invest some/any of it in a loss making football club towards the bottom of the Championship. I for one would not be putting my bet on it even if Bet365 were giving enhanced odds on it.

True but she’s also unlikely to let it go bust.

There is no way the coated family will let anything happen to sjoke.

Unlike our owner they care about their local club and have invested heavily for years and will continue to do so as they have plenty to spend.

Their decisions have been terrible though in singings of managers and players and trusting the likes of cartwright and scholes. They should have filled Chris Hughton's mouth with gold but instead they took another risk by appointing another unproven in the 2nd tier manager.

If the worse came to the worse they would buy the ground like direby or funnel money into the club another way through sponsorship or copy direby again and class senior players as player coaches like with Rooney so his wage does not count for FFP purposes.

The coated money will buy them very good accountants and lawyers to fight whatever the efl throw at them.

Having said all that I hope the scum go down with or without a points deduction.
