    Jarrad Bowen

Speculation seems to be gathering a bit of pace..

The local press in Hull have said our interest is very real and we are lining up a £15m offer for him in January.

Hull want £20m. I wonder if we will offer £15m + £5m if we get promoted.

He's 22 and scoring goals for fun in the Championship from midfield.

Although, I just can't see this happening for some reason, Newcastle and Leicester said to be sniffing around too.

I have wanted him for ages and I don't know why he didn't go to the prem last season.

I heard he was on a free next summer, but given his age any English taking him then would have to pay compo because of his age.

I'd bid £8m on that basis going upto £12-14m with add ons.

He's a local lad and may want to keep back to this area.

Potato head will probably get him because of his links with hell.

Hull have another years option on him, which they'll obviously take up.

Which means he effectively has 18 months left on his contract.

My son works with an ex football league keeper who’s good mates with Jarrad’s dad.

They’ve broken up for Xmas now but when they return to work I’ll see if his dad’s mate can get an inside steer on this from the horses mouth.

Would rather spend the money on good contracts for our promising youngsters.
