Of course it is Grist but the bottom line is we were relegated when even modest investment in January would have probably kept us up. Wonder how far off Tony Stewart is from now being in profit with his investment in Rotherham United.

That might have been true but it would have been a big financial gamble.

Had TS done that and we stopped up, then what?

We would still more than likely have been perpetual strugglers in the league losing more than we won. The supporters would soon have tired of that. When we are relatively successful our core fan base hardly changes.
