    January Transfers

Now that everything is rosy again and most on this board are now happy with the Ashley/Bruce combination, bar a few of us that still live in the real world that is.Does this mean that Mike being the brilliant owner he is that gave 10000 season tickets away(nothing to do with his new advertising boards not looking good on TV against the backdrop of empty seats)will give Bruce a decent wedge to spend in January to strengthen the squad for a push for Europe.
I say Europe as us realists, sorry, doom and gloomers that want the club to fail, are often reminded we are closer to European qualification than relegation.I mean that's what good owners do isnt it,strengthen when things are looking good and they are looking good apparently.

Charnley done an interview with BBC radio Newcastle last week or maybe the week before...

The club have no intention of strengthening in january....

Expect the 2nd half of the season to be as it was for most of pardew's tenure...

Mid table mediocrity with no ambition to push on.

Mind you... because of our lowered expectancies... most of us will be pleased if we do not have to worry about the bottom 3 from easter onwards....

And that just about sums is up. Status quo, that is unless in a relegation fight. Some ambition, I don't think, no prospects as usual.

The table is strange this year, A couple of wins to europe, A couple of losses for releagation.
We are in desperate need for a striker. And another midfielder would ge nice. Our defence is strong and have no problem who plays.

We are around 8 or 9 places above where the fat man wants us to be with his 17th place avoid relegation policy.

Aye. But where we are means his IBS and ulcer stays under control with a couple of Rennies.

Also gets daft cnts singing the praises of SB giving him breathing space.

    Divide and conquer.
