Old lady across road lost her husband last year.
Present under the tree and she is coming for Christmas dinner and tea.

I check on my old neighbour across from me as he too lost his Wife this year and he looks so alone now. Speaking to him the other day and he said he feels like he's had enough. Pretty sad to be feeling like that and it must be oh so lonely after all those years he spent with her. Married for 59 years bless em.

My mum always told me if you can do a good deed you should.
Old fashioned values I had drilled into me.
Lacking sadly in a lot of situations nowadays.

Old lass near me , strugglers with everything.
I help with bins etc as she can hardly walk.
Helped carrying shopping home .but she only goes to local dear shops. As she can't walk far. It pissed me off because she really won't accept help.
And she needs it. Pride I think.
I pass her house every day with dog and keep an eye out.
But what else can you do.?
