Our debt and the Dees debt

A few facts. Especially for any Dees looking in.

We have no debt and the Dees have no debt.
Trading losses at both clubs are being funded by both sets of owners. In the case of Dundee FC trading losses have been and continue to be funded by Tim Keyes company FPS. So far so good.

The majority shareholding of 85.6% in Dundee United was bought by Mark Ogren with liquid funding and without mortgage. The undisclosed sum relating to the total cost of the purchase, rumoured to be in the region of £3.5 million, includes the cost of acquiring the shares, paying off existing soft loan holders, buying back mortgaged assets and creating a working capital fund.

Dundee United own Tannadice Stadium outright.
Dundee FC do not own their stadium, they rent it.
When FPS bought Dundee out of Administration they promised to buy Dens Park. They have not done so.
Dundee United also own assets other than the stadium..
Dundee FC do not.
Dundee United's owners have stated that it's their intention to operate the club on the basis of planned success at football.
Dundee FC's owners intentions appear to hinge on the successful construction plan for a new stadium with commercial possibilities as part of the financial plan.
The owners of Dundee FC are on record as saying this plan does not depend on Dundee FC being in the Premiership.
The owners of Dundee United have set a clear business goal of being successful in the Premiership.

Dundee FC have been in Administration twice.
Dundee United have never been in Administration.

If Dundee United were to enter Administration they have assets that might be attractive to a buyer.
If Dundee enter Administration again they have no assets that could be of interest to any buyer.

Seen on twitter that Nelms is saying 2020 will see the application submitted for new Stadium at Camperdown, obstacles have been sorted and time to get it built

Interesting to see how this is going to work out for them, i take it its a 8000 seater similar to St Mirren?
