    Newcastle cup tickets

Got ours this morning, tickets selling fast. With our 18k season tickets plus Newcastle taking the Smethwick, that only leaves around 3k for non season ticket holders.

Good to hear you have your tickets.
I snapped mine up this morning but debated where to get the ticket as we aren't allowed in the Smethwick.
Decided on the Birmingham Road but since season ticket holders have their seats retained for a week there was slim pickings.
I saw that the Smethwick Corner (is that what its called?) is either for Newcastle or not to be used.
Long time until we play the game though.

Hi, I love the Cup. I have been to every home Cup tie at the Albion since i started going up in 1961, including the Texaco cup games etc. Went to most of the away's up to the early 90s.
Hate the way the FA Cup is treated now. Having watched Albion win the LC Cup and Fa Cup , would love fans who haven't been lucky to see us win final to see it.

I have to admit my attendance at the Albion over the years has been nothing like yours but I went to the FA cup games which saw us eliminated by QPR at Highbury back in 81/82 a sickener.
I still believe in the FA cup and surely the reason why the fans sing that 'astle is the king' is due to the FA cup win so lets try and win it again.

The 82 semi final loss to QPR is the worst I have ever felt on the way home after a match.

We didn’t turn up.......as soon as I saw Martyn Bennett on the pitch in that bright red suit pre match I knew we were heading for trouble.

The ironic thing about it is that if we had reached the final and we had gone to a replay with Man City like QPR did I wouldn’t have met the girl I ended up with on replay night.

Not the girl I eventually married but a long term girlfriend and one that taught me a lot about myself.

Regarding winning the cup this year.

Not a snowflake in hells chance.

Best we can hope for is a home tie in the next round because I think all the other teams getting through will be Premier sides.

I’ve got a ticket via a friend who isn’t going to attend.

It’s been ordered against her account and this morning a ticket for the game has arrived with her.

Do I need her stile card and the paper ticket to get into the ground?

I always seem to remember just using my stile card once a cup match had been paid for?
