Last year we did a four week road trip around the UK and Ireland and although we also went abroad a fair bit we enjoyed the UK/Ireland road trip so much we want to go again this year, albeit take a totally different route. Last time we stayed in a variety of places from nice hotels, small hotels and pubs as well as Air bnb. However we enjoyed staying in some great small hotels and some great pubs the most.

This year, as part of our trip, we are planning for a three night stay in Birmingham and are looking at what pubs to stay at. The Mosley Arms has come up and looks ok. Anyone of you good people know of it. If so, is it ok or should we avoid? We like a natter with local people over a beer and just want somewhere close to places to eat in the evening etc. Any thoughts welcome.
