It is at times like this everyone has to accept that football really is just a game.

I was sat near his family, when Adam came over at full time I also had something in my eyes but controlled myself for the Thommo chant.

Ffs I didn’t know Wiles & Barlaser we’re suffering also, god bless them all & hopefully the fan is on the mend (any news?)

‘Warne lost his own father in pre-season, assistant manager Richie Barker is still coming to terms with the recent death of younger brother Chris, Ben Wiles' nan passed away, Matt Crooks has been shattered by what happened to best pal Jordan Sinnott and Dan Barlaser is mourning two people who were close to him.’

I'm not heartless but are players different to us. We all lose someone. I have. Bloke who had season ticket next to me at the DV & New York stadium he died from cancer over 15 months ago. His passing wasn't observed. Just saying.

There's no worder tha so popular on here Gru. There's a saying, if you can't say something nice don't say owt at all. I'd say that applies quite strongly to this thread and one you really ought to have respected pal.

Don't really know whether you are heartless or not, but you are totally insensitive and oblivious to the fact that the vast majority of posters on here find your contributions negative, ill-informed, banal and embarrassing. Just saying

Everybody matters to someone but I think it’s because we watch them every week or so we know the players and some actually have a chat.
With fans not all know each other and some don’t want to applaud certain individuals

Obviously it’s all up to you mate.

Hopefully I’ve replied better than certain posters might, we all have our own opinions

I'm a season ticket holder have been for years. It gives me something but I don't expect anything back or seek it. Other supporters might see things different.
