    Fan base a true guide?

    How true is it? People often point to big fan bases as to whether a club is considered a big club or not.
    How much of it is about big clubs in the area and the fan bases being shared out? We have Wolves, Villa, Birmingham all in close vicinity to share out the gates. Newcastle and sunderland is shared out by 2 teams. What are your thoughts?

    Our problem is being boxed in by 4 other clubs all within 5 mile radius. Think or support is loyal than Wolves,villa and blues. Apart from the wolves promotion season, their average dropped to under 22k and had close the top tier of the north bank villa did the same. Wolves also had a few sub 20k's
