Think that the figures are bad but to be expected. The stadium is the way forward, and has been said its been that way for quite a while.

Everyone thinks that the new stadium will be our saviour but I am not so sure.
It will probably be the same set up as we currently have at Dens. The stadium will be owned by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited and we will probably have to rent the stadium. Dundee Football Club will probably have to pay for the cost of all repairs and improvements which they do at present.
Nobody has stated whether the club will keep all the profits from the hospitality, funeral teas etc or on what basis the profits will be split.
In my opinion the access road to and from the new stadium car parks is a major stumbling block.

Nobody expected the stadium to be a gift for the club to profit from surely?

Is FPS / DBPH not set up as an umbrella type company where that company makes the money and covers the costs of the daughter company of Dundee FC? Was that not the justification for them accruing a 75% share holding? If that's the set up then as long as FPS / DBPH is solvent DFC can operate at a loss without any serious concerns surely?

The access road to the stadium, if it ever gets built, is not an issue because the currently proposed main access for the majority of traffic is directly off Kingsway. If it is the case that it might be a problem I'm sure the council and Transport Scotland will prevent the plans going ahead as presented and insist on alternative arrangements as a condition of approval. I know for a fact that alternatives were proposed by Transport Scotland but am not sure where that part of any new complex is right now.

For the record one alternative that TS proposed would have taken traffic from the west off Kingsway up Myrekirk Road, Liff Road to the Coupar Angus Road junction at Birkhill. In my opinion an absolutely comical suggestion.

I have little faith in Transport Scotland.
They are currently erecting new lampposts on Kingsway West with these useless digital lights. The lampposts ate set at least three yards back from the side of the carriageway which means that the lights shine down on the grass rather than the dual carriageway.
The light from these new lampposts will be fine for anyone walking on the grass beside the Kingsway but useless for motorists.
Once again Transport Scotland has screwed up big time.

I thought that the 75% share holding was to give them more powers.
You will notice that on 8th February 2020 FPS swapped loans totalling £605,647 for just over 45 Million shares.
In my opinion this had to be done as a result of just over £202K shares having been purchased by minority Dundee Football Club Limited shareholder to allow FPS to maintain their 75% shareholding.
