    Cambridge highlights

A win, and about time. I only listened, but it all sounded one-way until Lambe scored. Good win! - External Link

If you're talking about Harry McKirdy, he was the best player on the pitch, closely followed Patrick. Those two ran riot for 75 minutes. McKirdy won't be in this division for too long – certainly not at Carlisle.

I thought the Carlisle no 40 Patrick? was excellent. The type of forward that we are crying out for. Tall, strong but also very good with his feet. If he became available in the summer we should snap him up.

Carlisle were well drilled and I think they had done their homework on Leon and Kyle as they didnt get the penetration unlike the Bradford game.

Carlisle came with a plan and executed it perfectly, and for me were worthy winners this afternoon. Shout out for their 339 fans, that was a really good effort given the distance and the season they’ve had.

Carlisle most impressive. What the hell are they doing down there?

Credit to Carlisle, who produced a very competent away performance and might have expected to go in more than 1-0 up at half-time.

Carlisle were good I thought. They closed us down well, won most things and were generally fitter and stronger than us on the day. Very much a deserved result, an equaliser late on would have been unjust.

Credit to Carlisle for out battle balling us, thought Webster and Mellish stood out for them in the physical battle.
