    Accounts Reporting

There’s an interesting contrast in how our accounts and those of the neighbours have been reported. This can only be down to how the news is given and each Clubs relationship with the press.

The Daily Records variation is astonishing when our £1.8million loss is reported with words like worries, fears, cash strapped and a general dismay.

Utds £3.8million loss was accompanied by words like ambitious, free spending and generally positive that all was good as they had an American backer with money.

Utd have always been good at manipulating the press.

They were able to make Graham spiers talk gibberish, get it reported Timmy ****ing mallet was some kind of celebrity superstar and turned uncle tam duthie from a Dee to a dab.

They also have Brian Taylor from the BBC who always uses big words when simple words are easier to understand.

I seem to remember reading that United’s new owner stated that he would make money from his new venture at Tannadice.
He must have been given financial projections showing that everything would be wonderful.
