Germany have proposed, if the league season is stopped

One proposal regards relegation and promotion.Top 2 of the 2nd tier promoted, bottom 2 of the top tier relegated. Then there will be playoff from 3rd in the 2nd tier with 3rd from bottom.
    Sounds fair to me.

Not convinced we would actually beat them. So let’s not put risk in the way of potentially having a season like the Villa are having now.

If the season is stopped you can't have any play offs. For me top three up bottom three down like it used to be and should continue in the future. The top three have proved to be the consistently best teams in the division. The play offs are a lottery, someone can hit a run of form and sneak in on the last day of the season, then beat a team about fif**** points clear of them. I know we wouldn't have got out of the old third division but it's still the fairest way.

Never agreed with play-offs, but if there has to be one it should be 3rd from top of Championship v 3rd from bottom of Prem.

Agreed it's not the fairest but do you not agree it's the most exciting. And is that not football should be about?
