New day, new challenge. These aren't intended to be easy. I'll post new clues regularly (at least daily). I won't be responding to guesses until someone is correct. Guess as many times as you like. There's no O/T in the title so obviously it's football related. Here we go. Good luck.

I suffered a tragic personal loss a number of years after I hung up my boots.

I 'played' in my usual position against the Millers when an Aussie scored the winner.

In America you can get me in foot long, I think they do them in the UK too?
