Thread: Live and Let?

    Live and Let?

There appears to be a number of holiday homes in my area that suddenly have residents. On the village website someone has posted about this and included the details of where you can report this and get it checked out.

In reply someone wrote "Oh for goodness sake we are not living in a Police State yet. Live and let live"

Someone else replied " I think you mean live and let die"

I really do think these people should be heavily fined and named and shamed.

The (permanent) residents of Southwold put up a banner at the entrance to the town telling second home owners, in no uncertain terms, to go home. There are lots of lovely houses in Southwold, mostly owned by wealthy Londoners and there aren’t many local people that can afford to live in the town; very sad. Great brewery, though!

I don't know if it's true or not but I have heard police turned back five hundred caravans yesterday heading to the west country. Probably the same people who bought all the bog rolls.
