RIP
Was just watching him recently in the 1970 FA Cup Final which was 50 years ago yesterday when Chelsea drew 2-2 with Leeds before winning 2-1 in a replay where at one point Bonetti was in so much pain after a challenge from Mick Jones he couldn't even stand up. Good job they had those magic sponges back in the day with no GK subs.

Peter Bonetti R.I.P.
One of the great goalkeepers Peter Bonetti has passed away at the age of 78 years.
Nick name the " Cat ".

R I P remember him from the 70's great cup final when Chelsea beat Leeds in a replay. The " Cat " lived up to his name in that replay.

RIP Peter The Cat. Part of the flamboyant Chelsea team in the days of Charlie Cooke, Chopper Harris, Peter Osgood, Alan Hudson etc. Great to watch Chelsea back then.
