Depending on the outcome on how the season may well end, it's looking more than likely that LeedsMiller will be crowned this season' Champion. He has lead the table for most of the season and although extra point scoring opportunities were brought in, he has remained steadfast at the summit. I bet he has the same feelings as Jurgen Klopp has running through his veins.
Looking towards next season, the Prediction league allows you to pit your skill, judgement and sometimes luck against fellow Millers fans and, anyone is welcome to join, it's free and purely for fun. Just how good are you?
I feel the scoring system is ready for another shake up and I propose that we introduce points awarded if you choose a draw/score draw and well as outright winners of a game. Many of us might have have dropped points last season where you chose a certain winner only to see it end in a draw. Thoughts on this please.
I'm asking for any other other ideas that you may think will aid the League to be more competitive, so come on get thinking and get posting.
I am more than happy to continue running this if Frog and CAM are in agreement for me to do so. The table will be updated asap after a fixture list has been concluded, internet and access permitting. I will also be looking to include midweek fixtures throughout the season, so long as there are a minimum of 10 games being played at that particular time.
I noticed a raft of fellow Millers that had a go at where the millers would finish at the end of this season competition. Do any of you fancy joining this prediction League? The more the better and more competitive it will be.

Yeah. Don't let brin take over.
Ooops. Thought it was frog posting
1. point home win.
2. points draw.
3. points away win.
Four matches each week.
Skill and nerve will decide, 4 points or 12 points.
PW, very good idea. This could split the wheat from the chaff. Makes my adding up a lot harderbut, it's worth considering. More points on offer makes all the better for playing for. Last part, what do you mean by four matches each week? Are you saying we only use 4 matches on each prediction I post, instead of the usual minimum of 10?
With the numbers we are likely to get then the old format only used to take me 10-15 minutes but needs a fairly complex spreadsheet to automate and prevent errors.
I'd do the following that should be easy to do manually.
10 games - all posters predict H,A,D for all 10. 1pt for each correct. Double points for all 10 correct. Either mix the 10 from different leagues or use a different league each week rather than just use our division. This also prevents worry about postponements as if one happens it impacts everyone not just those that picked a certain match.
Drop the goals scored as it's pretty random and is also impacted by postponements.
Publish in advance how many weeks there will be and how many weeks people can play e.g. 36 from 40, 40 from 46 etc. That gives someone a chance to miss a week by choice or by accident and not feel they've lost the chance to win. Focus on Saturdays and Bank Holiday fixtures and don't do mid-week.
Don't change or add rules half way through the season.
