    Arturo Vidal to Newcastle

Hmmmmmmm............. He's a good midfielder that happens to look like a cocaine smuggler.

I'd say he'd be a decent first signing under the new owners

The way he runs around the pitch, You could swap the two around. He's a good Cocaine runner, who also plays football.

He must be getting on probably about 30
Yes he’s been a very good baller in his time
But I’d rather see young hungry players rather than someone looking for their last big payday.

I still have nightmares about john Barnes and Ian rush

I don't know how you must have felt about Sol Campbell then. I couldn't believe that signing.

I wouldn't mind Vidal. He's still got a lot about him I reckon. Getting into the Barcelona team is not easy. And all players are looking for a big pay day when they are established, as long as they've got ambition I'm fine with the Saudi Prince handing him a few pounds a week

But you're right about the young, hungry players. That's the ideal way of going about it.

Ian Rush was 37 when we signed him? Campbell around the same I think? Very poor judgement signing players at those age.

Yeah quite right pat over weight and over paid !

I was exited when we signed kliuvert but he didn’t live up to my expectations
In those days we had a strike force of
Shearer, kluivert, Bellamy and a young lad called shola

To be fair John Barnes wasnt to bad for us but Ian Rush was a waste of a wage, Also Kluivert was great when fit and when he played alongside Bellemy they were deadly together. Vidal would be a decent signing bringing great experience in the centre of the pitch something we have missed for a while now.

Vidal would be decent for the length of one contract.

It would also signal to other players of his ilk and from other big clubs that we're worthwhile considering.

Barnes was alright. Rush though . . . **** me - fairly sure that was just Kenny looking out for an old mate.

Campbell, i just assume someone lost a bet somewhere.
