    For years

We have had to live with survival in the Premier League being the number one priority.

We have to live with owners and managers trying to actively get us out of the cups as soon as possible.

Why are so many pundits and "experts" getting on our back for welcoming the new owners? They have a sh!t human rights reputation, but surely it's up to us whether we want to condone them or not.

    We need a change.

I think it was most eloquently and correctly addressed by (I think it was) Geordie:

They can all just f*ck off.

They will hate us for a while but if we do start to win things then we will be the media darlings again.
Personally I prefer to be hated as it will create a siege mentality.
These owners are looking to change their image and promote their country, we are just lucky Amanda Stavely has convinced them to use us.
I'll be back if I can get me and my son season tickets and I cant wait, it's been a long 11 years for me.

It's gonna be amazing when we finally have our 'AGUEEEEEEEROOO' moment.

I am looking forward to the next Howay 5-0 again the scum of Manchester, beating Manchester United is still the sweetest thing for me. I even applaud Puppet Pardew when we d!cked Moses's MU 1-0.

The future battles with Liverpool and Cithad, continuing to be Chelsea's bogie team, putting the hasbeens of Highbury in their place and shutting the mouths of their permanent choking lilly white cowardly neighbours and getting back to destroying the toothless yet arrogant East London copper wire stripping, dodgy driveway laying 'Was West'Am what won the World cup INIT, the WestAAAAAM WAAAAY'.

Gonna be sweet to watch us compete and entertain for the first time in almost 20 yrs.

I mean the last few years of Sheppard and Hall were not so joyful. Big Sam, Souness are two of the worst managers 'Pre-fatman' era.

Let's enjoy this lads, I have waited all my life. Since that first match away to Southend to watch us get beat 4-1, I've wanted to see us lift silverware.

The Entertainers were a joy and I loved the passion and attitude, the style and the optimism.

So now the new age of optimism, ambition and pride.

We can enjoy wearing our shirts outside the NE1 post code once again.

From Jesmond to Jakata, from Wallsend to Waikiki Geordies of the world rejoice!
