I've been quite sanguine about things until Chris Whitty announced we could be in lockdown for the rest of 2020. Although not naive enough to think things will go back to normal (will they ever) I was counting on being to able see family and friends and socialising by perhaps June. Another 8 months has given me sleepless nights.

I’ve reached a point now where nothing seems to affect my sleep.

Can’t do anything about it so it’s not worth stressing.

Our grandfathers were told to leave home and go to war and family were not to know if the would ever return.

Going to bed at night wondering if you might get bombed was something to lose sleep about.

A bomb landed 200-300 yards from my dad and nans cottage in the 40’s,I might lose sleep over that but not this.

We are being asked to stay in our comfortable homes for weeks or months which is tedious at times but not truly awful.
