I was reading on Owlstalk that if Wednesday are found guilty of the charges they are so severe they could be automatically relegated.
Points deduction for the offence and relegation if proven that the offence was intended to mislead the EFL.

It depends on how much the will is within the EFL to actually want to exercise their own rules .

This is at the heart of the matter , relegate Derby County and Wendy to save Barnsley and Luton Town ?

This is the crux of the matter .

Easy to deny Swindon Town a place in the PL in the early 90's when they won the play off final but fell foul of financial obligations .

Try that one with Aston Villa three decades later and see how that works out .

The EFL ain't no balls , still fecking around with this season and we are a week shy of June and no feckers even done a session training yet .

    Not fit for purpose .

Have you seen any such building taking place?
Have you seen any improvements with the ground or have you noticed that the once reknowned Oakwell pitch is no longer what it was?
Have you seen any improvements in the facilities[hand driers & ladies thingies excepted]?
Have you seen any building [by that one can reasonably assume they meant the squad] in the quality of the squad?
Have you seen anything that improves your match day experience [greatly heralded]?
Have you seen how they have really taken care of the fans with the marquees [which were paid for by the fans I understand?]
Just what have these new owners actually achieved in their 3 years?
    Come on bill have you?
Roll on an owner from Monk Bretton
They can’t develop or improve the ground because they don’t own it

    & Charlton's pitch early March

    Can you see the difference?

Ground staff were worried about the pitch before the Boro game, we’d had that much rain around here the pitch was becoming water logged and struggling to cope. Started raining heavy again during the match as well if I remember

The rules should simply read- Here's the financial line, cross it and you will be automatically relegated.

You break the rules and it's the same punishment for all clubs.
With you 100% on this Pass.
Clubs should be aware that breaking FFP means automatic demotion. I would go further and tag on a 12 points deduction for the following season.
Also FIFA etc should make it absolutely clear what is and what is not legal.
Clubs should have an open channel to request clarification on anything they are unsure of so they can get a clear Yes or No.
    Simple.

There’s rules, and there’s rules. Over the last years the toothless rulers of the football world have shown no TEETH in dealing with the unscrupulous tactics that occur. Their role in this game is to protect and promote, the game.
Ask the EFL what they did to protect and Promote the game in Bury!.... one of the oldest clubs.
The football rulers in this country are corrupt. They exist to promote and enrich themselves. Even in this strange times they exploit the players and bully them into putting themselves in harms way for the SKY COIN.
The sooner the tables in this den of thieves is upturned the better.

Totally agree. PL & EFL could have helped Bury.
Even an interest free loan may have saved them.
But they didn't because Bury don't have any clout.
Can't see ruling bodies letting UTD, CITY, SPURS etc going under.
Can't wait to see PL reaction when top clubs break away from them to start a super league in Europe and their funding gets cut by 2/3.
