FA allow National League to extend the season meaning playoffs can go ahead. Significant news for Notts and all other teams chasing promotion to the Football League.
Still element of caution given National League members have to vote in favour of playoffs going ahead. And secondly, as per last week, NL also have to offer guarantees that next season will start if EFL are to relegate from League Two.

The FA has granted the National League an extension to their season.
It means the National League can hold playoffs beyond the end of May deadline.
Following a meeting last Thursday, FA Council members had been asked to vote on the proposal.
If this is true then only teams in the playoffs should vote.
