    Absolutely cracking. At least pre-sponser.

The top is up there with the 2017/18 one in being one of our best in recent times. Hopefully it will be available without the sponsor.

Yet again though we ruin it with white shorts! There must be someone with a great deal of influence who is a big fan of the white shorts because we keep getting them so often, yet they just do not belong on a Motherwell home kit.

Motherwell home kits are claret and amber shirts with white shorts.

I appreciate for variety we need to indulge modern trends but occasionally it's good to go back to the proper order. It looks miles better.

    Says who?

If you want to go back to origins then Motherwell home kits are petrol blue like our new away kit.

The Claret shorts are far superior. Not only do they look alot better but you tend to associate our best teams/seasons with the Claret shorts, at least in the last thirty odd years.

However, this kit is specifically meant to be a throwback to one of our "best teams/seasons", the 1950 League Cup winning team, who wore white shorts. (Which I know isn't in the last 30 years, but if they've chosen to copy that one, it would be daft not to go with white shorts.)
