Black players that have played For Barnsley FC

Can anyone remember your First in a Reds Shirt ?
Who would you say was the Best ?
It's going back a long time but , the first i saw was Steve Mokone , he was a decent forward and scored a few goals too ,
As for the Best , Clint Marcelle/ Ricardo Vas Te have to be well up there ,
For a club that often gets accused of Racism , we have have had our fair number of overseas players at Oakwell
I can only think of Frimpong and he can't possibly miss Dave Regis that were poor

Who was the ex Sheffield United / Bolton player that accused Barnsley of being a racist Club ? Noel Blake springs to mind , the worst i've seen and heard was against Winston Campbell at Bramhall Lane , Bananas thrown in the dozen , abusive chanting , i don't know if this ex Blade played that day ? But he should take a good look at himself for enticing unnecessary remarks to himself or others with his gestures towards away fans ,

He war a big bugga al sey that , absolute beast of a man but chuffin hell he was shyte .

Felt sympathy for Tony Cunningham , for a start he had the enviable task of replacing big Trev and secondly he had a totally different style of play .

Barnsley fans niver took to him .

Tony was a decent player and a great guy he and a few other players used to pop in old social club after training and after a match they were the days when footballers weren't above who they were and would mingle and have a drink with fans , not like these prima donnas so called celebrities which the game has now become

Totally different today , i remember one night after an evening game Neil Warwick" boots tied together round his neck " sat Iin the Mount , John Peachy was with him , no airs or graces , just enjoying a drink with the locals , unfortunately them day's are long gone , that's when fans and players had total respect for each other ,, what a shame how things have turned out to be , MONEY RULES NOW .

Was it Brian Clough that once said he only kept Winston Campbell on at Forest because of his smile? Or did I dream this
